Ironic?
A suite upgrade at a hotel where you will only stay a couple of nights and couple of hours a night?
A special message for you but it's actually for somebody else (as well as the bottle of wine to go with it)?
A bottle of wine and no way to open it?
Is this what Alanis would call Ironic or is it just a strange mix of good and bad luck?

You've got to try the Langham Place hotel in Hong Kong. Their suites are the best appointed I have ever been in. Not because they are large, but because they have CD/DVD players in each room, so you can play your own, and they include a bookmark in the room's stationery collection - because of course you were reading a book on the plane.
Needless to say, there was a corkscrew in the bar. In fact, there were two.
Will definitely check it out when I'm next in HK.
It's not in the best location - in Mongkok, way up the back of Kowloon - unless you get a thrill from walking out your hotel door into bustling Asia, as I do.
