- Got right - Athletics 100 m world record was beaten in quite an emphatic way. Bolt even opened his arms at the end just so it wouldn't be too ridiculous of a difference to his current record :-)
- Got wrong - Johnson did not win the all-round gold medal, but Liukin did. I had thought I would put "US will win all-round female", but then decided that was too much of a 50-50 prediction. Therefore, my prediction was wrong.

- Got wrong - Nadal won Gold. I have to stop betting against him. This is getting ridiculous.

- Got right - Liu Xiang didn't win Gold, although I couldn't have predicted this "injury" of his.
- Got wrong - Rosenthal/Gibb will not win a medal.

- Got right - all Table tennis gold medals will go to China, no matter what happens in the Men's final. This is truly a great achievement. More than probably most can give credit to the Chinese for.

- Got right - US did win all the Gold in Basketball, albeit in a close match with the Spanish in Male.
- Got wrong - although China did get the most Gold, US got the most medals overall.
